You can only order online via the website. We do not accept orders via email, telephone or post.

Your details are completely secure. Your credit card information is processed by our payment provider and we do not store any credit card information. Your name, email and address are only used to send you your order. We will never sell your details to third parties or other mailing lists. Our full Privacy Policy is available here.

Our website, data transfers, credit card transactions and logins are secured by valid, up-to-date SSL certificates.

Please contact us. All items (except the slimline flexible magnets and the art cards) are made in house, so hopefully we can make more stock to accommodate your request. Sometimes I may have to order more raw materials and wait for their delivery, which means that items may take a little longer to make.

I receive a notification when an item is low in stock and as long as I am not discontinuing a design, I will put magnets and art cards on the next reprint order and update you accordingly.

If you are buying coasters to give as gifts, you might like to add one of our smart black, sliding lid gift boxes to enhance your gift purchase. The boxes have the Mint To Be postmark-style logo stamped on their lids in glossy silver and are suitable for up to four coasters.

We don’t offer gift packaging for our slimline flexible magnets, art cards and art prints.

We take credit and debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal.

We have a minimum order of £10 excluding shipping and delivery costs.

Once your order is confirmed and payment processed, you will receive confirmation at the email address you submit with the order.

Not always. Whilst we aim to ship your items together where possible, we have to despatch the art prints separately to the other items because of the way that they are packaged.

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail and must be signed for on receipt.

We offer First Class, Second Class, Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Royal Mail Tracked 48.

We do not ship via Royal Mail Special Delivery services except by prior arrangement - please contact us to discuss.

Please note that in order to ensure that they arrive in the best condition possible, art prints are shipped separately in strong cardboard tubes.

We aim to despatch orders of items within 3-5 working days, often sooner.

Yes. Simply add the delivery address at checkout.

Shipping is calculated based on weight and dimensions. Our shipping charges incorporate the cost of our packaging materials, trip to and time spent at the Post Office etc.

Please note that in order to ensure that they arrive in the best condition possible, art prints are shipped separately, either in a strong cardboard postal tube or shipped flat between sheets of thick walled corrugated cardboard as appropriate.

However, it is worth signing up to our mailing list as we have sign up offers and regular mailing list customer offers, which often include free UK shipping too.

You can sign up to our mailing list here.

We regret that we currently do not ship overseas.

We are currently shipping to the UK only (England, Scotland, (inc. Highlands and Scottish Islands), Wales and Northern Ireland.

However, please note that due to the ever changing circumstances relating to Brexit, which are beyond our control, shipping to Northern Ireland may change/cease at short notice.

If you wish to return an item and either exchange it or request a refund, please complete the Returns Form prior to sending the items back us and let us know.

Do not return an item until you have received a response from us authorising its return and instructions for its return have been given to you. The returns address can be found on the packing slip sent with the order.

Returns cannot be accepted until we have authorised the return.

The cost of returning the item will be at your expense and refunds can only be made once the item has been received by us, therefore it is recommended that you use a tracked and insured shipping service. Where an item is agreed to be faulty, the cost of the postage will be refunded along with the value of the item returned, once it has been received by us.

We are not currently VAT registered and therefore do not charge VAT. Should you require an invoice for accounting purposes, please contact us.

The wholesale site will be made available in 2021. Please contact us if you would like to receive a notification of when the wholesale site goes live.

Sorry, not at the moment; my diary is full for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately, I am not set up, nor insured to allow visitors to come and see me at my studio.

Mint To Be is an e-commerce business only; we do not have a bricks and mortar shop.

However, you are welcome to come and see us at any live events we do. Any upcoming events we are attending are always published on the Home page of this website and publicised on our Facebook page and Instagram grid. We also offer a click and collect service enabling you to order and pay for your goods online and pick them up at an event that suits you. We do have a cut off point for orders taken this way to allow us time to make up your order for you.

All of Mint To Be’s artwork and products include a proportion of recycled/repurposed materials in their creation, even though this might not be immediately obvious! Fortunately, today’s recycled art does not have to look like the yesteryear sticky backed plastic/old cornflakes box creations of the presenters of the BBC children’s television programme, Blue Peter!

Slimline flexible magnets

Each flexible art magnet is printed in the UK by an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified printing company on board with a rubber-free magnetic MagneCote coating, which is biodegradable.

Each magnet is directly digitally printed, thereby avoiding the more traditional use of printing plates or photo chemicals.

Flexible magnets ordered on this website will be supplied 'naked' without each magnet being enclosed in an individual protective sleeve, but any magnets in an order will be packed in a recyclable (PP5) polypropylene protective outer as a 'pack' to avoid them getting marked or wet in transit in the typical British weather that we enjoy or marking any other products in your order. This packaging will be kept to a minimum.

Since we usually exhibit at quite a few outdoor events, slimline flexible magnets that you buy from us at events will be wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve out of necessity to shield the card from damage by the elements (which would mean even more waste). This sleeve is manufactured from thin, crystal clear polypropylene (PP5); a recyclable plastic.

We have experimented with compostable bio-film clear packaging with disappointing results for our applications; when exhibiting outdoors in the combination of direct sun, heat and rain we found that they were breaking down during the duration of the event, leaving the product inside exposed to the elements and sadly becoming damaged.

For more information about the clear protective sleeves that we use, see the How Do I Recycle/Reuse/Repurpose Products And Packaging From You section below.

Flexible magnets are shipped in a board backed envelope or postal box as appropriate and are not gift packaged.

Art cards

Each art card is printed in the UK by an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified printing company, with a zero waste to landfill ethos, using responsibly sourced FSC medium to heavyweight smooth board and supplied with an FSC heavyweight paper envelope.

Each art card is directly digitally printed, thereby avoiding the more traditional use of printing plates or photo chemicals.

Heavyweight envelopes are supplied with each card and are made from FSC paper. We usually use plain white although sometimes pearlescent white/cream envelopes.

Art cards are shipped in a board backed envelope or postal box as appropriate and are not gift packaged.

Coasters

Coasters are made from a combination of 90% hardboard with 10% sawmill wood fibre waste making them very sturdy and robust. Finished with a stunning glossy coating, slightly bevelled edges and rounded corners, these coasters are easy care; simply wipe them clean with a damp cloth to keep them looking brand new!

Coasters are sold loose and are boxed in a plain brown postal box for shipping or within a clear, protective, recyclable sleeve (polypropylene (PP5) if you’ve ordered other items that need to go in the same box. All packaging will be kept to a minimum.

Coasters are not gift boxed unless this option has been selected.

When you choose to add a coaster gift box to your order, a smart black cardboard box, with separate sliding lid is supplied with your coasters in it; it is embellished with the Mint To Be logo in shiny silver foil to complete the look.

If you are ordering three or four coasters to go in the one gift box, they fit snugly in the gift box without an additional foam pad. Should you only want one or two coasters to go in a gift box, a faux velvet covered polyurethane foam pad is supplied.

Gift boxed coasters are shipped in a plain brown postal box.

For more information about the packaging that we use, see the How Do I Recycle/Reuse/Repurpose Products And Packaging From You section below.

Art prints

All art prints are on British made, archival textured paper which is fully recyclable should you fall out of love with them.

Art prints are supplied with a white acid free board (recyclable) and wrapped in a clear, protective, recyclable, polypropylene sleeve (PP5).

Art prints may be shipped gently rolled and inserted into a strong cardboard postal tube with plastic end caps (LDPE4) or shipped flat between sheets of thick double walled corrugated cardboard as appropriate.

For more information about the packaging that we use, see the How Do I Recycle/Reuse/Repurpose Products And Packaging From You section below.

Should you fall out of love with Mint To Be creations (gift them!) or want to recycle packaging, rest assured that most materials from Mint To Be can easily be recycled.

Prints are sold unmounted and unframed because we do not like to impose our choice of mounts/frames on the décor of your home or office. However, all of our prints fit into standard sized frames which are widely available through high street shops, supermarkets or even professional picture framers and we provide the details, both on the product page and with the products when they ship to you, of suitable frame sizes.

Mostly no, but at some of our live events we will have a small selection of framed prints available to buy; it largely depends upon the amount of exhibiting space that we have available to us; sometimes this can be very prohibitive indeed!

No, sorry, we don’t. The cost and logistics would be prohibitive for us to do so.

However, all of our prints do fit into standard sized frames and we provide the details, both on the product page and with the products when they ship to you, of suitable frame sizes.

At the moment no, but this is something that we are investigating. We also have to consider that as original artwork is handmade using a variety of recycled materials and techniques, sometimes this may limit how big certain art prints can be made, whilst preserving the original sharpness and clarity of the artwork.

Some items are seasonal and others are available year round (such as my wearable art pieces) when we do live events and will in time, also be added to the website for you to purchase. Other items are one offs, some of which will be added to the website in due course, whilst others will remain as one off items to discover and purchase at live events only.

We are expanding the website range, so check back regularly or sign up to our mailing list to receive updates of when new things are available.

We originally donated a percentage of our profits to the ‘We Love Manchester Emergency Fund’ set up in the aftermath following the Manchester Arena terrorist attack in May 2017, but this fund has now closed.

Instead, we will now be donating 10% of the net profits from the sale of any item featuring the Manchester Bee, to the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity (charity no. 1180418), an initiative founded by the current Mayor, Andy Burnham in 2019. Money raised by the charity is distributed across the city’s region for various important causes, but it places a particular priority on homelessness and rough sleeping, which is a cause also close to my heart.
